Detail-oriented and Passionate Product line coordinator with graphic design knowledge.
JLC Golf and more, located in Scarborough, an established importer and wholesaler in golf, promotional products. We are currently looking to add a detail-oriented, results focused individual to our office who has a passion to develop product line.
Roles & Responsibilities
• Communicate in Chinese (Mandarin) with factory in China to develop sales material and technical information to support the sales force and customers. This includes printed and electronic documents, product training material, packaging specifications, item weights & measures and other support data. You will demonstrate a basic understanding of costing implications as they relate to the Product Development process and provide input to create improved processes that increase efficiency and productivity.
• Update the system with price changes, product descriptions, graphics, copy and other visual communications.
• Maintain product catalogs with most updated information on a regular basis
• Regularly review our company websites to insure accurate product copy and images
• Communicate new product updates and existing product changes to the sales team
• Regularly research and gather consumer insight material both online and at retail to aid in the product development process. You will survey the competitive landscape and maintain performance/technical benchmarks.
• Organize and Manage Merchant/Sales samples
Job Requirements:
· Technical: MS Office applications, Adobe design software illustrator InDesign Photoshop, basic WordPress skills will be an asset.
Education: Post-secondary degree or equivalent in Business or similar program
Language: English, Chinese.
Working hour and Pay:
· Monday – Friday, 9:00 am to 5:00 pm
· $16/hour (7 hours per day)
