                        The role:

Reporting to the Director of E-Commerce, the Fulfillment Manager is a self-motivated, performance driven individual who can manage and optimize the order fulfillment and shipping process from order inception through delivery to our customer, also ensure the friendly service through call center during whole customers shopping journey. We are looking for an individual who has the ability to adapt to our business model and wholly own this process to deliver a world class experience to our customers.

Major Responsibilities:

Monitor daily order flow, from when orders are received to when they are packaged and shipped out to our customers.
Ensure orders are fulfilled with the quality, consistency, and speed that creates our excellent customer service reputation
Design and monitor detailed reporting metrics to improve order fulfillment percentages in set time frames, improve customer experience, monitor cancellation rates and financial impact, and apply strategies for handling returns.
Develop additional Vendor Service Level agreements as pertains to all aspects of the fulfillment process
Research and identify how to implement improvements and cost saving programs
Audit monthly invoices from vendors or shipping carriers and identify opportunities for cost savings and participate in rate negotiation
Investigate and recommend new methods and efficiencies of fulfillment to help reduce shipping costs
Identify logistics problems and communicate with related parties in improving damages or spoilage during delivery
Liaise with other departments to coordinate fulfillment efforts
Maintain acute awareness of the daily challenges and operational bottlenecks faced by support staff and oversee initiatives for continuous improvement
Provide logistical oversight to ensure that the facilities, layout, and equipment is used to optimize efficiency and safety
Mentor direct reports to develop more effective managers and long-term career development
Manage Associates and Customer Service team to ensure that any customer order changes or issues are resolved immediately
Partner with Marketing team to provide forecast for expected outbound shipment volume
Assist with strategic analyses, planning and execution required for all warehouse and fulfillment related new business initiatives
Measure and monitor fulfillment level KPIs on a weekly basis
Assist with new systems testing and implementation
Maintain active and visible presence at the fulfillment centers, developing rapport with staff at all levels.
Directs and oversees all aspects of an organization’s customer service policies, objectives, and initiatives
Develops service level standards focused on response times and issue resolution
Establishes policies and procedures that produce high quality customer service delivery and that reflect industry best practices
Ensure that systems are in place and are utilized to capture and report on service metrics, including any customer feedback or trends in product or service issues

Knowledge, Skills and Ability Requirements:

Ability to design and analyze reporting metrics for eCommerce
Strong written and verbal communication skills in English and Chinese (Cantonese and/or Mandarin) are an asset
Ability to lift more than 60lbs and able to perform duties in cold and wet environment (i.e working in the cooler)
Strong customer focus and a commitment to execute and enforce SOPs and to ensure standard compliance
Minimum of 5 years of experience of fulfillment management experience
Thorough understanding of eCommerce fulfillment best practices
Excellent planning and analytical skills
Outstanding problem-solving skills
Experience managing high performance operation 7 days a week
Excellent knowledge of management methods and techniques
Ability to think strategically and to lead
Strong project management experience
