                        Job Description

Smart Renovations is seeking a highly motivated individual to join our team as a Receptionist. You will greet all visitors and answer incoming phone calls maintaining a high level of professionalism. Your secondary responsibilities include providing support with overflow work, such as mailings, filing, etc. the ideal candidate will be enthusiastic, positive, even tempered and have strong skills in areas of dependability, interpersonal relationships, and communications.

Responsibilities

* Welcome customers by greeting them; offering them assistance.

* Advise customers by providing information on products.

* Help customer make selections by building customer confidence; offering suggestions and opinions.

*Process payments by purchases; processing checks, cash, and store or other credit cards.

*Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.

* Upon greeting guests in the showroom, ensure sales lead data is entered as required

* Completing reports etc. as requested by management

* Other admin duties as required/requested by management

EDUCATION & BUSINESS / FUNCTIONAL REQUIREMENTS:

* Secondary School Graduate at a minimum, College or University degree as an asset

* 1 or more years’ experience working in a similar role preferred

* Proficient using Microsoft Office; competent with Outlook calendar

* Strong English verbal and written communication skills

* Self-motivated and strong passion in sales and design

* Previous experience with knowledge of renovation company, cabinetry company or flooring company would be an asset

SALES REPRESENTATIVE SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS:

Listening, Customer Service, Meeting Sales Goals, Selling to Customer Needs, Product Knowledge, People Skills, Energy Level, Dependability, General Math Skills, Verbal Communication, Job Knowledge.

Job Type: Full-time

Experience:

Receptionist: 1 year (Preferred)
Administrative Assistant: 1 year (Preferred)
Salary: $15/h
