Job Description
We are currently seeking a maintenance technician to support our production operations in our facility in Toronto. The candidate will be responsible for all printing machinery maintenance in the IML department and troubleshoot problems in an efficient manner. Furthermore, the candidate must have strong problem solving and analytical skills. The candidate must also be able be flexible in regards to schedule in order to be present during emergencies.
Job Responsibilities:
Ensure proper operation of all equipment and machinery.
Perform activities to comprehend industrial computer controls.
Learning all related activities to comprehend industrial computer controls
Learning all equipment operations and maintenance in all areas on the Printing floor.
Utilizing equipment and operational manuals in to repair and/or modify all facility equipment.
Conduct regular inspections and filing out maintenance reports.
Observing and ensuring compliance with all health and safety policies.
Qualifications:
College Diploma or University degree in Computer Engineering.
5 years of related experience in machinery maintenance, IT experience is strongly preferred.
Experience with Gallus printing machines is considered a huge asset.
Experience with PLC programming & AutoCAD is preferred.
College diploma or University degree in electrical engineering.
Must have strong communication and analytical skills.
Must be able to come in any time during shift 1 and shift 2 to perform maintenance.
Strong troubleshooting skills is a must
