从9月25日星期五开始，多伦多地区的38家药房将能够为无症状但是有高危风险的人提供冠状病毒检测服务，均需要预约。38家参与的药店包括Shoppers Drug Mart，Rexall，Village Square Pharmacy和Medicine Shoppe（文末附地址和电话）。
根据安省政府星期四发布的政策更新，没有症状、但被认为有暴露危险或在如长期护理之家的敏感环境中工作的人，周五起可以通过在大多伦多地区的特定药房预约检测，特别是在Toronto, Brampton, Mississauga 和 Markham的人。
安省政府早前宣布消息称目前全省有60家药房可以进行测试，并计划未来几周内安排更多药房进行测试。开放药房检测主要是为了应对目前检测中心需要排长队数小时的情况。
安省卫生官员表示，他们建议低风险、无症状的人不要寻求COVID-19测试。
根据安省政府官网指引，到药房检测需要满足以下两个条件：
1、没有症状
2、在危险环境中居住或工作，例如长期护理院，无家可归者收容所或其他密集工作场所。
到药房检测之前需要电话预约。需要遵循戴口罩、保持社交距离等公共卫生措施。
