万锦旺市8学校本周开始无症状新冠检测

上周在多伦多的一所学校进行无症状检测结果显示，18名学生和一名教师感染。安省政府决定扩大学校无症状检测，本周开始约克区的8所学校率先进行无症状的COVID-19测试。

据yorkregion报道，12月3日，位于旺市的Father Bressani Catholic High School、Immaculate Conception Catholic elementary school、 St. Gabriel the Archangel Catholic elementary school、Blue Willow Public School将成为约克区第一批进行检测的学校。

12月4日，位于万锦市的Middlefield Collegiate Institute、St Francis Xavier Catholic Elementary School、Coppard Glenpublic school 和 Markham Gateway public school将开始检测。

约克区公共卫生局（York Region Public Health）还确认了12月份开始无症状COVID-19测试的30所学校的名单。

约克区传媒总监 Patrick Casey说：所有的测试都将在上课结束后的数小时内在学校进行。他还说，之所以选择King和Georgina的学校是因为该地区距离测试中心较远。

对于18岁以下的学生，进行检测需要获得父母或监护人的同意。
